The really nice and gifted hairdresser on the film, Tony Mirante, was generous enough to agree to cut Malcolm’s hair and, since he had a lot of it, it took a while.
Here are the kids in Sam Millers office.

John Hancock Center once the tallest in the world outside New York City, now the sixth tallest in the world.
We arrived at the bust of Jean-Baptiste Pointe DuSable at the north end of the DuSable Bridge on Michigan Avenue above the Chicago River. DuSable is known as the founder of Chicago or Chicago’s first permanent resident and the bust is near where they believe his home to have been.

We grabbed a table at the Purple Pig right before our Architecture tour. Delicious tapas style dishes definitely for people who like pork. Notice what their sign says.

We visited the set of the TV series “BOSS”. My son Troy plays Sam Miller and the show is wrapping up its second season in Chicago.
Trump Tower
From the bridge Troy explained to us that Chicago was built on what was once swamp land. This lead to problems (mostly sewage) as the population expanded. The engineers had to sink steel beams deep into the swamp and raise a foundation up above the swamp.
You’ve seen video villages on my sets. Well, here’s one on my son’s set. I have to pinch myself to wake up to the reality that he is a grown man with his own career.
I loved meeting the people Troy works with every day—the crew, hairdressers, makeup, costumes, continuity, director, Producer...all so nice
