Hey Jane,
I was wondering about Tulea too, glad that she is still around! My nephew is in Afghanistan and he can’t say much, but as a 19 year old away from home for the first time he is having his eyes opened in more ways than one. Those who had their minds set about you back then aren’t going to change, unfortunately. However, you have more supporters than you have opposition, so take some comfort in that. We love you Jane.

There’s always going to be slandering propaganda, against you and everyone else in the public eye.

Those of us who were adults at the time, or read your book, understand and support your position. Wd also admire your courage.
Don’t let negativism, slander or misunderstanding let you down.
No matter how much good you do, there is always going to be someone who misunderstands you.

As the mother of a young son during the Vietnam War, I was grateful to you for not being one of the silent majority. I was thankful my son was too young for the war times. Today, the silent majority has found their voice through the internet and I am so thankful.
When I discovered your blog, I happily shared it with a friend, who to my shock, expressed surprise that I would be interested in you because of the previous letter! She believed those war stories about you. I told her my feelings and then realized she was younger and had been married to a serviceman in those years. When I told her about all the good you are doing, she said it’s probably because you are feeling guilty!! Even though we agree politically today, her opinion showed a state of mind I can’t stomach! Thank you once again, Jane!

Jane, that white outfit you are wearing in the photographs posted with “A fun dinner with friends” is gorgeous. You wear clothes so well that you should start a clothing line.

Have you seen Capitalism A love Story? I saw it the other night. Michael Moore’s movies are entertaining and thought provoking. Was wondering what you thought about it, as you’ve questioned capitalism thru your activism in the past. Yah I know…religion and politics. But I think you would like it.
