IF YOU BUILD A SWIMMING POOL WILL THE GRANDKIDS COME?

That’s the question Geraldine’s character poses to herself. She misses her grandkids since their parents moved a little bit away and thinks they don’t love her anymore.

So in this scene where we’re enjoying a barbacue in the garden, our friend, played by Claude Rich (in the cap) suggests putting a swimming pool in place of the vegetable garden. Geraldine’s husband is totally opposed. Stay tuned.

    Character is a interesting problem,to view .
    I was interacting with a while known director yesterday ,talking about sound. He said that he was wondering about having the dog bark when the icecream truck goes bye. I said that It is just as important ,what you don’t hear as what you see onthe screen. Character may be like that , what is not said is as important , and not in the script. The actor or Character , in real life maybe after the Icecrem truck, but in the real life of a character actor somedays barking is not all that motivational.

    l’ambiance du tournage parait sympa! il y a des arbres superbes dans ce jardin. Est-ce dans la région de Versailles ? ou une autre banlieu parisienne ! Je suis née à Versailles et je connais bien aussi Paris. Si vous ne connaissez pas Versailles et que vous avez l’occasion, le château, le parc, c’est vraiment superbe.

    Lovely location. If this were real life, I’d want to keep the vegtable garden.

    I think I’d invite the parents to help me plant seeds & invite them to bring the children. Bury a treasure map in the vegtable plot and lead them on a merry chase around the house, with real treasure, ancient manuscripts and mysterious characters to learn about.

    Much better than a pool.
