It’s difficult to believe that people hang onto Hanoi Jane resentment after all of these years and all we have learned. For goodness sake, especially those of us who were youths and teenagers in the sixties, we all were anti-war protestors and going to *Love-Ins* in our hippie garb preaching love and peace! Get over [...]

    Jane,
I watched your interview w/ Joy Behar tonight and learned of your website. I am happy to have the opportunity to actually say a few words to you. I am only 10 years younger than you and have loved watching you since the beginning of your career. I do not have any unusual fascination for *movie stars* but I have found you to be *special* for my entire life. I always revered your beauty and talent but now, at this beautiful, honest and serene place in your development, I find you to be so glorious! That’s just the best way to describe my admiration and respect for who you are and for who you have become.
I find you as gorgeous as I have always. You are witty, clever, intuitive, brilliant, informed, in touch, tender, strong, self assured, oh I could go on, but you know more than anyone who you are!
I just love you and the raw honesty and vulnerability that you share.
I wish your politics were more conservative, lol, at least I suspect that you likely lean left and that’s okay. I’ve loved you no matter what your political agenda and will continue to, as it is your right as a human and an American to believe as you will.
I encourage all Americans in this fragile time in which we now find ourselves, to put party aside and use our intelligence and common sense to get ourselves back on track to make our world, our country, the best it can be and a place that we can take pride in leaving to our children.
I love you Jane and wish you continued happiness, fulfillment and success in all of your endeavors!
    xo Sharyn
