    Dear Jane,
I had the good fortune to view your story Jane Fonda: In Five Acts and am moved beyond measure by your authenticity. I am watching again now and know it will take time to absorb all of the inspiration that speaks directly to me at age 53. I have been so hard on myself for being smart, pretty and “advantaged” who keeps quitting on myself. After listening to you speak of your mother’s mental illness and your own self doubts, I just feel so much relief! I hope you understand what that means. I received a direct gift of lift to my soul from a complete stranger today. Thank you, Jane, for speaking candidly and giving me courage to do the same. One immediate big take away was the bipolar diagnosis of your mother and how you learning the lack was not about YOU. You said some part of her difficult childhood ‘broke her’. Hearing that sentence from you, the wonded daughter, healed something inside of me. A forgiveness of myself came over me in an area I had been stuck for 8 years. I quit my business when I was becoming an internet voice in natural health, when Monsanto haters started getting loud on my blog commemts I ran scared, bailing on my entire financial future I was building. When I was too harsh and unweilding on kids I didn’t know it was my illness. I had always needed a man with periods of autonomy between, which gives false sense of being a strong female. Your HBO Five Acts life story spoke to me today on so many levels I realize it is time to record more of my own story that may help my children understand one day, or maybe for just for myself. I love your soulful self and selfless work. Thank you Jane!!
