I was simply shocked by your book, MY LIFE, SO FAR.
I identified with you in several moments, in others I cried desperately. While I was reading and thrilled, I wished to be by your side to hug you and say, “Calm yourself, you will survive all this. You are strong, loving, brave, intelligent, beautiful … everything will be all right. ”

The intense and deep way you described your life and your feelings at all times touched me deeply. Your experience helped me see the women and myself differently, with more love, acceptance, and generosity.
You have awakened feminist thoughts and in me (inevitable way for any woman who wants to get rid of the harmful effects of chauvinism) and a sweeping will to make a difference in the lives of people around me and in my community.
I am planning to set up an institution to help victims of sexual abuse. Here in Brazil the figures are shocking – 527,000 people are raped each year, 89% are female, 70% are between 0 and 14 years of age, only 10% of cases of sexual violence are reported.
We know how these abuses are physically and emotionally mutilating.
It is a very sad reality, this theme has always caused me immense sadness, but I have always felt impotent about it. Your determination to create GCAPP has motivated me a lot in creating this project. I would appreciate it if you could give me some tips on it. Your coaching would be of great value but I’ll understand if you can not.

I have an immense admiration for you, an equally great pride for you being the strong and determined woman you are. I simply love everything about you, your life, your history, your generosity, your talent as an actress, your willingness to help people, your sense of humor, your commitment to social causes and logic, your beautiful face and yoour slender body. You are DIVA!

I’ve been devouring all content about you on the internet and on Netflix (I loved Grace & Frankie, I’ve watched 7 times the four seasons). I recently watched an interview about the Georgia Rule movie where you sit on the lap of the host Stephen Colbert and start kissing him, I laughed a lot of that scene, his face is a mix of despair and delight, you’re very irreverent, it was fantastic!
I would love to meet you in person. It would be nice if you shared with us your travel schedule, lectures and events (open to the public, of course), so we could go to meet you.

I hope you keep writing to us, we really want to know how you’ve been feeling now, what’s been happening in your life, what’s your biggest motivation these days. You’re inspiring, please do not stop!
