Having grown up in Huntsville, Alabama in the 1950s and 60s, I remember white and colored water fountains and restrooms with the maids riding in the back of the bus. We have come a long way, but there is more work to do. I’m blessed today to have a writer I represent that has written a manuscript close to my heart. It’s about this mixed race mother’s young years in Tennessee not far from my home town. It was so beautifully written I cried when I read it. I’m hoping Simon and Schuster will publish. Hello Ms. Fonda, Love “Grace and Frankie” so much I turned my British friend and writer onto “Grace and Frankie” on Netflix in the UK. His book “Signature Walk” has a lead character that says JANE all over it. Sent copies to your Nine to Five Buddies and just sent you a copy that will be arriving on Friday June 29th. Enjoy!
