Hello everyone!
Just found your website, Jane, and the timing was perfect. I’m 68 and doing my best to stay fit, active and strong. I did your Complete Workout for over 10 years in my 40s, and just started your Trim Tone & Flex Workout. I used to be a runner, but now do brisk walking. I’m excited to be back “in the workout groove”!

You can follow me on twitter @MeAndPD – I only post info about PD and not that often. Two other good forums are http://www.patientslikeme.com/ and http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum34.html Both of these are for PwPs and often have good discussions on a variety of topics (from mainstream meds to coconut oil to medical marijuana!!). Also…[Read more]

~Let it be noted and remembered, that when no one in America in the public eye gave a damn about the Vietnam Veteran, Jane Fonda, used her celebrity pulpit to do everything in her power to stand with, and stand-up for the Vietnam veterans. I know because I was one of them who went to her rally in Los Angeles and marched with a hundred other vets…[Read more]
Jane mentioned wanting to post things from her extensive past, and that got me thinking about the website I created to showcase the photos of my family ancestry. I bet she too has photos going back a hundred years or more but has never organized them as I finally did. I invite all to see the impressive results at “Our Family Photos” album at…[Read more]

I received my book, The Peripatetic Pursuit of Parkinson Disease, today in the mail. What a wealth of information! I am not sure if I want to hand it over to my mother/father or dive into it myself first! Thank you John and Brian. I think that is what these community groups are meant to be for, asking questions and sharing knowledge that can…[Read more]
Hi Susan, I’m so happy you like the book – it gets rave reviews and is a great resource for all with PD and their family members
Thank you, Brian. I had to hand the book off to my parents to read first. My mom just told me today that the book is excellent. I will definitely read it after her or get myself another copy.

A good resource is the book “The Peripatetic Pursuit of Parkinson Disease” – available on Amazon. Written by over 100 PwPs, MDs and neurologists. A support group in a book!

Hi Faylene!
this group has actually only 35 members- we should make it more lively and have more exchange, because the only thing that is sure about…is that each one of the 35 members certainly loves exercising! I am 51, also a runner, I try to do something every day and if I can’t I just go walking at lunch time for 1 h. (my dog cannot keep up…[Read more]
Hi Christina,
Thanks for your reply. We’re celebrating the 4th of July holiday here, with lots of fireworks and picnics. The weather in Tennessee has been so beautiful! I joined the Prime Time group also, since I’m definitely in that age group.
There’s never enough time it seems to stay fit, so it’s a real challenge for all of us.
