    I don’t usually join groups but seems I’ve done posting regarding Grace and Frankie on the regular ongoing blog and maybe I should be doing it here with other fans of this wonderful series. My usual comments are around the characters of Grace and Frankie and I haven’t said anything about the other characters or actors who I enjoy. So I want to show some appreciation here and now.
    First, one of my most favorite series ever was West Wing so I am certainly a fan of Martin Sheen’s work and I did watch Law and Order for many years and like Sam Waterston’s work as well. So I was very pleased and surprised to see them in this series. I watched a few Friends series, but wasn’t a regular. It feels like this series is a coming together of such wonderful talent and because of this talent and this particular material they shine like special jewels with just the right setting.
    One thing I love is that over the time of the series each character has shown growth. Those I didn’t particularly resonate with at first now are like family members who you grow to appreciate over time. Here’s some of my recent special likes;
    I love the scene with Brianna and Sol discussing her fear and opening up to a more generous supportive part of herself because she loves Barry.I like the direction it is going for Mallory finding a nice guy, the Principal. I loved and laughed hard at Robert with his CPAP and Sol getting stronger in his own individuality. I liked Coyote and Allison’s mutual understanding that they could unite in support of Bud but didn’t have to like each other. The important thing was that they both loved Bud. I loved Robert singing his Man of La Mancha song. I love Joan Margaret’s little bitty steps and firm direction on “her set”. I like Coyote’s Little House. I loved Robert and Frankie getting high and losing the dog. I loved Nick’s steadfast passion for Grace. I loved that Frankie and Grace got to keep the house. I really was dreading moving to a new place. I like that Arlene is hanging in there because I like that actress. I loved Nick and Robert at the funeral.And wasn’t it nice to see Ed Asner again? I loved seeing Babe again and her message.
    I love the writing but also I love what these great actresses can do with nuances. Deep feelings or zinger one liners it all rings so true and honest and human. They break my heart, then heal me and lift me up. Like you in this group I love this show and I love the characters, the writers, the actors and even am grateful to Netflix for choosing to give us this quality entertainment. My applause and thank you to all involved. Dona
