I also loved the question of what if Frankie and Grace hadn’t lived together. So smart! Those hideous Boxtox lips and how even more callous Grace had become. And Frankie with her strokes centering her life on chickens and Sol. George Harrison as Grace’s companion was perfect casting. And Babe being the anchor to their humanity, their connection. NICE.

So I had an idea. Grace and Frankie as grandmothers have a dream forward sequence of what the future could be for Faith and the other four grandchildren. So we get to see Faith as a grown person with Frankie as a really old grandma and it could be a wacky kind of thing with what Frankie thinks is important but also with some of our issues solved but others still pretty scary like water rationing stations. What would Grace want for her grandchildren? What does she think the future holds for them? A contrast with today’s choices. etc. More people having to live together? Marta & Howard can make it funny. A spoonful of sugar etc. Just an idea. Dona
