Ah, there we are. I figured out how to join the group. I’m from Nova Scotia, Canada, although I was born & raised in, or near, Montreal. I’ve admired Jane & her work for a long time, (I turn 70 in April), Artistically I think “On Golden Pond” was the best she’s presented. With that cast, how could it be anything else?! But the script was good too. You’ve got to have a good script to work with. “The China Syndrome” was another great film. “Cat Ballou” was a fun movie. I have only seen the trailer for “Klute,” and although I’m also a fan of Donald Sutherland, Klute doesn’t seem like a film that appeals to me. The script, (dialog), is simplistic. I have no doubt the acting was good.
