Hi im totally new to this website but im terrified about the future that my children have to look forward to. So im looking for some help or answers support all of the above. I moved to a town of like 50000 ppl about 2 years ago and i think the hugest employer in the town is a chemical plant. I know someone who works there at a pretty high level and has first hand knowledge of things that go on there. There are all kinds of gas ammonia leaks hundreds and hundreds of them on plant site which apparently is a good amount to them. This summer they also had a huge fire burnt atleast 3000L of oil melting the aluminum roof no sprinklers anywhere no alarms on plant site went off. The building right next to it has more explosive flamable gas that had the flames gotten to it the blast would take out half the town including the hospital. The government turns a blind eye to the emissions. And i wondering how can i get the ppl in this town to care about what this place is doing and not doing to and for our enviroment.
