Although Canada did not have troops in Viet Nam, Canada did participate in the war by supplying the U.S. military with supplies such as Agent Orange. This toxic herbicide was manufactured by the Uniroyal Chemical Plant in Elmira, Ontario which is 60 miles from London, Ontario. The day before your arrival the President of Fanshawe College came into the Student Union Office to warn of possible disruption at the event.
