Screen legends Robert De Niro and Jane Fonda team up for this story of love and learning, which has been given a good presentation on DVD. Stanley & Iris has been given two transfers for this DVD release; viewers may choose between the original widescreen version, presented in letterboxed format in the aspect ratio of 1.85:1 (enhanced for anamorphic playback on widescreen monitors), or a pan-and-scan transfer in the full-screen ratio of 1.33:1. The original English-language soundtrack is presented in Dolby Digital Stereo; a dubbed Spanish track in Dolby Digital Mono is also included, as well as optional subtitles in English, French, and Spanish.
