HEADED FOR MY RANCH. HOORAY!!!

Yesterday Richard and I headed for my ranch in New Mexico. Here’s a photo of Tulea in her carrier on the plane

The moon was majestically full as we drove from the airport—1 1/2 hours—to my ranch.

Today it is sunny and cool. A picture postcard day! And I have been inside all day working on my book which I am supposed to turn in end of September. Yikes! And also doing phone interviews about my new DVD Prime Time workout programs. So far, the reaction from those who’ve seen them is very positive. They’ll be out on November 30th at Target for the first month and then Walmart.

  1. Love these pictures….especially of Tulea! It’s probably one of the sweetest photos I’ve seen of her! I wonder if she likes flying? Hope you had a good time at the ranch!

  2. hello Jane, lucky-you back at the Ranch, New Mexico this time of year sounds wonderful. Well I finished the script did the clean up ,put it a Standed film script formatte, Courier 12 point seems to look good, but it seem to run a little over 160 pages. I have written master papers and other tect works , for teaching and have passed a grad couse english composition. But this project did run over 9 months from my conception. I do want to look to a publisher for the maybe book deal for that formatte. I worte some good lines used the “sure-fire” method of structuring the script . Two misfits are thrown together and ultimately slays Goliath, wins the day. I did let the tears come and the laughs be real, I wanted to have something that you would want to play, someone you would like ,want to be. I will get it in the PDF formatte and send it of to: Kevin Huvane, EVP Creative Artists, and hope that you will get to read it , I read alot worked my way throuth college in the library , I enjoyed reading it. I have a scene with you and Hugh Hefner, a added a few lines , made the scene funny . after cear formatte in PDF , I could send it out , by Monday. As a Artist I would not want to create any thing that was not at the best I could do, something good. Well ,who know what casting can do, but I created something good

  3. The view was beautiful beyond belief. Jupiter was visible for several nights. I hope you saw it.
I can’t wait for the workout. I will be getting it for my mother. I know she’ll love it. She was a devotee of your original workout, plus I’m a Target regular!

  4. Were you able to see Jupiter near the moon? It’s been so bright lately.

  5. Ahh, the good life…so well deserved! Enjoy & savor every moment, as I know y’all will!

If I had a wish granted…beyone the obvious…it would be for you Jane, as a BFF (a gal can imagine~) to share determinations & realizations accomplishe. As I live in the NOW yet find pleasure in my former parapathetic life(s)that I can no longer entertain but recall with victories revisited.

So thrilled for you, Richard & Tulea! (Photo of Tulea is beyond adorable!)

    Namaste’

  6. Oh pictures are beautiful. Mmmmm I can just smell the air. I was born and raised in NM and have lived in Ca now for 17 years. Love Ca, but NM is home. I miss the sky, the landscape and the people. Thank you for sharing everything you do and where you travel. Extreemly generous. That’s just all I have to say. Peace and Love to you Jane Fonda.

  7. Hey Jane,
I can’t wait to get the DVD at Target – thanks for the heads up!! I’m glad to hear you are relaxing at your beautiful ranch – the moon photo was awesome – just spent a few days with Lulu – we had fun – lots of love karen

  8. As a writer myself, I wonder Jane if your muse is more or less accessible when surrounded by New Mexican magic? I find my writing is more focused without a view to ponder and more expansive when I write in my garden. So challenging to strike the right balance!

    All the best,

    Matthew DeCoster

  9. hello Jane
Tulea is really to funny !!!
Quand votre livre va sortir en France ?…que je l’achète dès sa parution.
    kiss

  10. Hi Jane – Waited on you at WFM Santa Fe about 7 yrs ago. You were very nice. Loved your big orange balled necklace and SF style poncho. Back in the midwest now taking care of my mom, and really missing the NM high-desert, and rolling hills.
Currently studying Naturopathy with the Christian College of Natural & Spiritual Health. I would eventually like to travel and help people with their health holistically.

    Take care,

P.S. You should do more comedies – You rocked it with Jennifer Lopez & wanda sykes.

  11. I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Fonda several years ago after she spoke at a Women in Leadership meeting I attended. What a phenomenal woman! After buying her book, which she graciously autographed, I enjoyed reading about her journey. Her tweets invite you along.

  12. Wonderful photos. I hope you two have a wonderful time there at this ideal time of the year. You’ve been doing so much-whoosh, and show us an example of energy and inspiration at the state of life that you are in.

The good people in Florida are working to elect our first woman governor-who is descended from one of the Siamese Twins, symbolic of the Floridian mix. There is much to be done. Your positive news helps to keep energy and momentum going in my own life.

  13. New Mexico is always pleased to have you here – you have such a beautiful place to spend time. 😉

Just wondering if you have some workout tips for people like me – who sadly mostly able to so exercises from a sitting position. Bouts of sciatica that truly need movement. Degenerative discs in lower back needs movement too.

As I always feel many thanks for sharing.

Love and light to you and yours… Palestar here in Santa Fe 😉

  14. That is one sweet looking puppy… what a face!

  15. Hi Jane,
Welcome back to Santa Fe. Were you able to
attend the recognition event for Bob Redford
at the Museum of Modern Art this weekend? Now that you and Redford both live here parttime, would be wonderful if you could do another movie together that Bob could direct and film in and around Santa Fe.

  16. Tulea is such a little beauty. That is a wonderful shot.

I still have your book Women Coming of Age, and treasure it. Am really looking forward to your new DVD. I won’t shop at Walmart but will buy it at Target. Your DVD is being released at a great time since I will be 60 in January, so I’ll have a few months to use it and feel better about everything for my birthday. Thank you.

  17. Tulea looks eager. Your ranch is very beautiful.

  18. Jane,

Truly one of the BEST articles I have read on a blog, thus far this year. I, only wish I could had been in CA. supporting all the other women at the “unforgetable” cause. What a wonderful statement that was made there and hopefully will be shared everyday!! I, totally agree with you…Anything, Maria Shiver AKA The First Lady, speaks of will be well worth listening and than taking action as she and you have set the bar high…for all of us to follow. Great photo’s also. I have been at the compound stating when I was 18…Everyone, knew than Maria, was going to be a who inspires others to do their best. As do you!! Thank you, Maureen

  19. Hi, Jane,

Just wanted you to know I have my name on the list for your 2 new Workout DVDs AND still have your original DVD’s in a box in my attic! Ha! Those were the days when I could actually get through one of those. Now, as you say, I’m “moving on” and look forward to the next Workout chapter. Thanks for your wonderful spirit and delightful humor. You lift our spirits every day.

  20. Hi Jane! Just saw you on Oprah! Grandchildren do evoke a love like no other. And the older we get the better we become. You are so inspirational and a style icon!! I really love the necklace and earrings you wore on the show. I can’t seem to find any info on them on the web? A reply would be great! Love to you and yours Jane….

  21. I’m so jealous of you Tulea…
    New Mexico and Paris!!!
I haven’t left New York State in years!

    Flying is good for you…
    you look great!

  22. Hi Jane– I too have a Coton. Does Tulea’s hair get matted all the time like my Leo’s? I have to brush him every day (which he hates) and cannot skip a grooming appointment or else it’s a hair disaster. Coton’s sure are high maintenance, but also the sweetest things in the world.

    Here’s Leo after the groomer… 🙂

  23. Dear Jane-Your little doggy is adorable. I got my first dog Bodhi-a Tibetan Spaniel mix from a rescue 2 years ago. He’s the love of my life! He loves to run very fast too in big wide circles-it always makes me laugh to see him run so exuberantly. I used to live in New Mexico in the early 80’s and in mid 90’s. I love it there so much-such a sacred space and place. Wish I could get back there more often to visit-my son just returned from there after 3 years.Guess it’s like our ‘second home’ now. Wishing you many blessings for a wonderful New Year-2011! Nancy
