Hi Geoff, of the pre-Complete Workout videos, only the original, the Pregnancy, Birth and Recovery Workout, and Start Up were barefoot for the entirety. The other tapes all started with shoes then removed them for the floor work, as it allowed more mobility for the feet during those exercises. My mother received a copy of the original in the mid-80s and found it too difficult, and as the story goes, when she was thinking about returning/exchanging it, found me doing it. I was also, about the same. My Mom got a few of her tapes and Kathy Smith in the early / mid 80’s and I did them with her. She kind of lost interest in doing them and did other fitness activities.
