Jane, you are an inspiration for me. Not only for all the good workout projects, but as a strong woman, far ahead from your Time. I hope I can reach my 70th with my mind and body health, just like you(I think I still have time, I am only 27).
I started my trainning last week and my goal is lose 7Kg (around 15 pounds) until the end of 2016. Let’s do it !

I just bought the Original Workout on DVD and was kind of disappointed that it did not feature the music I remember. I’ll still do it, but am not as psyched as I remember my audio cassette had a lot of fun music.
Hi Brigid, that’s a similar comment from some Amazon reviews, too. The DVD has the same music as the original video – only the album/audiotape version had the music from The Jacksons, REO Speedwagon, etc. The album/audiotapes tend to be available on eBay, if you have the equipment to play them. 🙂
After returning home to MA from Fla where I walked and ran 30 min / day I looked for something I could do at home. I recently started using the Walking Cardio Workout : Level 2 and absolutely love it. It’s just long enough to do after work. Jane is very positive throughout the video. I Iove it.
I’ve lost a pretty substantial amount of weight twice in my life. Pretty soon, I could be an expert at this.
I think what I’m going to do now is read my books.
Walking my 30th Half Marathon in West Virginia this Saturday 5/28 ! 🙂

I will be 78 this year and owe my fitness to this tape. I just now bought the DVD – the old tape was getting fuzzy and pixilating now and then – When anyone is amazed at my age and agility, I…[Read more]

NYT could have done better with Biggest Loser front page article, waist, not weight is the best way to measure success. It is all about body composition which accounts for unhealthy visceral fat. Sure Ms Fonda gets this

Conventional approach to exercise needs modification because of advances in the science of senescence.
Such advances tell us that in physical exercise there is no one size fits all.

Hi fellow health&fitness enthusiasts, greetings from Singapore. I hope we all can share ideas on senior health and fitness within this group for quality life.
I, on my part, have designed a workout based on both western and oriental concepts. For want of a name, I call it Weirobics.
Weirobics blends simplified movements of the meditative Taiji…[Read more]
