O.K., I know, I know, I have previously discussed this, but finally, we found the 2-disc ‘Monster-In-Law’ DVD on Amazon and we loved the extra behind-the-scenes secondary disc. Anyone who hasn’t seen this ‘come out of retirement’ film is missing out! I don’t want to say ‘come-back’ film as I never thought Jane was coming back from anything. We […] View

I’m really going out on a limb here Jane, but, you should really consider looking into developing the Helen Frye Story, she was a powerful and remarkably independent woman like you! When I saw you in Monster-In-Law, that stunning Native American jewelry you wore? Well, that was Helen Frye! She loved her ranch at Sedona, the mesas, Native Americans, and was a participate of the southwestern movement of the 1930’s on. You could capture her essence perfectly! The movie treatment-script has been sent to Hollywood, but no interest yet. I was told Hollywood isn’t doing films of substance these days, yes, we all know that (painfully)! Either way, you already have 2 connections to the Frye story, the Forked Lightning and John Gaw Meem. Plus, Jack Frye was one of the most powerful democrats in the country, and, a personal friend of Harry Truman and Bob Hannegan. Hey, and besides Helen’s association with Cornelius Vanderbilt, Frye, and Howard Hughes, how many women are engaged to Ty Power? I know, this note is so brash, but nothing ventured, nothing gained! I think you and Helen had a lot in common and it might behoove you to look into this idea. Thanks for listening! Randy
