Working on a new personal project about women and age. I’ll be 51 in five weeks which I realize is not so old especially these days; but… I mentally and most days feel 29. Unfortunately afte 49 it seems society feels the need to remind me of my age. Whether it’s by asking me and fussing at how great I look, “for my age” or not getting a job because I’m just “too old”. Which is rediculous, I look amazing for any age. But I get why JF states her updated look has given her another decade. I get it! I’m going in that direction myself now. So this project is close to my heart and I’m looking for answers I suppose. I’m also going to create some stunning environmental portraits in the process as this unfolds. Who knows where it will end. I’d love for everyone to suggest questions for my first interviews for the women in this project. I’m thinking 7-10 I’ll interview and photography. Questions about life loves family and where age fits in. Fave and least fave ages. How it’s affected them and where their head is at now. These are women all 50 and beyond. Sounds like a sci-fi movie. Janes movie Book Club has created some terrific questions and why I joined her forum. My first celeb forum. Most of my fave celebs are photographers and artists and not tv or movie stars so this is sort of fun.
