Great Book (My Life so Far) and Great Documentary (5 Acts).

Inspiring. I was thinking I was too old to start something new at the end of long government career. But, realized I was just in the middle of my “Second Act”… much of which has been an unenjoyable “learning” journey. So, opened new service-oriented business with focus on young women… body image, eating disorders, addiction, trauma… many who inspired me work in stripping and serve as escorts (sooo young) – owned by pimps (controlled through addictions and violence), and many whose families don’t know what to do anymore. With the business, I created a new foundation to support those who cannot afford assistance / treatment / a new start. So excited for the second half of Act Two of my life.

I read a quote in a book I am reading attributed to Jane Fonda: “It’s never too late – never too late to start over, never too late to be happy.”

Amen to that !
