Jane – I am busy listening to your book via audible and loving it. I struggle to sleep so it’s my evening listen at the moment. I really admire your activism and recently feeling this deep internal struggle that you may be able to offer some advice on.. I am from South Africa but my current work is abroad. At the moment back home the violence against woman and children is out of control. I get so fired, angry and heart sore reading the posts and the news. I am only recently learning to speak up in a crowd against this behaviour. There is a protest happening tomorrow and I so wish I could fly back to be there. My goal is to design my life where I can work abroad for a part of the year and spend the other part back home, getting my hands dirty in assisting with change making. There is so much to be done! I don’t this being possible for at least the next 18 months and wondered if you had any advice on how to show your country and people empathy and support while not physically being there? I’m trying via social media and signing petitions but there has got to be more.. From your book I understand you had a similar internal struggle during your early career and wondered if you could shed some light on this area (grateful emoji face insert) x
