Jane Fonda is sadly one of the very few world notables who for decades has done much to enlighten communities, institutions and governments against the insanity of the population birth rate, though which has gone unchanged since the early 60s. I’m old enough to recall when Jane and Ted Turner had boldly discussed the consequences of this “last taboo” on CNN in early 80s. It’s encouraging that at least some young people not only get it but can and do communicate this understanding despite those who would suppress it.

With this virus confining married and unmarried men and women at home virtually 24-7 and for who knows how long, boredom can promote carelessness, unwise and all too quickly made life choices. So I hope this virus won’t be the cause for spikes in the already escalating world birth rate. With 100 million more every year since the early 60s, population over growth is the hottest fuel driving climate change-on top of which now is the addition global heat emissions and waste generated as the world tries to contain, combat and kill this virus from infecting the 8.8 billion humans-up by at least a billion in just ten years-and growing. Coupled with an otherwise welcomed death rate decrease, over population is the leading cause of deforestation, consequent CO2 level increase and species extinction due to over development, ocean level rise, drought, increased wildfires,more frequent and violent storms and flooding. Economically, it kills the job pool size, suppresses wages and drives up the cost and down the quality and quantity of ever basic human necessity.
