NYT could have done better with Biggest Loser front page article, waist, not weight is the best way to measure success. It is all about body composition which accounts for unhealthy visceral fat. Sure Ms Fonda gets this

Conventional approach to exercise needs modification because of advances in the science of senescence.
Such advances tell us that in physical exercise there is no one size fits all.

2 weeks ago I finally turned to the 2nd level of the cardio workout (on a daily basis, of course) and in contrast to my first – and not really successful – attempts to do it a year ago, I have no problems now. After returning home to MA from Fla where I walked and ran 30 min / day I looked for something I could do at home. I recently started using the Walking Cardio Workout : Level 2 and absolutely love it. It’s just long enough to do after work. Jane is very positive throughout the video. I Iove it.
I’ve lost a pretty substantial amount of weight twice in my life. Pretty soon, I could be an expert at this.
I think what I’m going to do now is read my books.
